This is the first wallpaper of the samsung S9, which is also found in the leaked renders of the device, who last week appeared. The background was done by beroepslekker Evan Blass on Twitter and via this link to download it. Alongside (or above) you find the wallpaper also. The background has a resolution of 2960 x 1600 pixels and works on any Android smartphone. The image is quite large, so it is smart to get this via a wi-fi connection to download if you have a small data bundle.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is the successor of the popular Galaxy S8, that is since april last year is available. The design of the S9 hardly deviates from that of its predecessor, although the bezels on the sides and slightly thicker. Those at the top is a little shrunk. The screen size remains the same: 5.8-inch. The larger Galaxy S9 Plus has a 6,2 inch display.

Reportedly sits under the hood, an Exynos 9810-chip with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The S9 Plus has more ram (6GB) and storage (128GB) on board. Another difference between the devices is the camera: in the ‘regular’ S9 is a single camera, the Galaxy S9 Plus has two. Out of the box to run the phones on Android, 8.0 (Oreo) with Samsung’s Experience-skin.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on 25 February officially unveiled during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The devices are then from 16 march in the shops. What price they receive is still unknown.
