MySQL installation steps

MySQL installation steps

  • Install dependency package
yum -y install autoconf automake libtool cmake ncurses-devel openssl-devel lzo-devel zlib-devel gcc gcc-c++
  • Download the corresponding source package
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/boost/boost/1.59.0/boost_1_59_0.tar.gz wget http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQL-5.7/mysql-5.7.12.tar.gz
  • Add user
groupadd mysql useradd -r -g mysql -s /sbin/nologin mysql
  • Unzip the installation package

    For example, the path here is / usr / local / install \ u package

tar zxvf mysql-5.7.12.tar.gz
  • Compilation and installation

    After decompressing the download directory, you can execute the compile command. I am ready to install Mysql to / usr/local/mysql-5.7.12. -The dwith? Boot command refers to the directory of boost

cd /usr/local/install_package/mysql-5.7.12 cmake . \ -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12 \ -DMYSQL_DATADIR=/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12/data \ -DDOWNLOAD_BOOST=1 \ -DWITH_BOOST=/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12/data/boost_1_59_0 \ -DSYSCONFDIR=/etc \ -DWITH_INNOBASE_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \ -DWITH_PARTITION_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \ -DWITH_FEDERATED_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \ -DWITH_BLACKHOLE_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \ -DWITH_MYISAM_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \ -DENABLED_LOCAL_INFILE=1 \ -DENABLE_DTRACE=0 \ -DDEFAULT_CHARSET=utf8mb4 \ -DDEFAULT_COLLATION=utf8mb4_general_ci \ -DWITH_EMBEDDED_SERVER=1

Start the installation after the above command is executed:

make make install
  • Configure power on self start
cp /usr/local/mysql-5.7.12/support-files/mysql.server /etc/init.d/mysqld chmod +x /etc/init.d/mysqld chkconfig --add mysqld chkconfig mysqld on
  • The configuration of / etc/my.cnf is for reference only. It can not be matched. The default is used.

  • Data initialization

    – - initialize execute does not generate random password

/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12/bin/mysqld --initialize-insecure --user=mysql --basedir=/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12 --datadir=/usr/local/mysql-5.7.12/data
  • Start database
service mysqld start
  • Change root password
update mysql.user set password=password('123456') where User="root" and Host="localhost"; flush privileges; # perhaps update user set authentication_string=password('123456') where user='root'; flush privileges;
  • Set up internet access
/etc/mysql/my.cnf or / etc/my.cnf #Find bind address = 127.0.0.1 and comment it out; / / the function is to stop allowing local access only; Restart MySQL / etc/init.d/mysql restart; or sudo service mysql restart; Log in to mysql database: mysql -u root -p enter password mysql> use mysql; mysql> select user,host from user; If the host value of "%" is not available, execute the following two sentences: mysql> update user set host='%' where user='root'; mysql> flush privileges; Or you can perform: mysql>grant all privileges on *.* to root@'%' identified by 'root'; #The first * indicates the database name; the second * indicates the table name of the database; if *. * as above indicates that all tables under the database can be accessed; '%': indicates the ip address allowed to access mysql; of course, you can configure it to specific ip name;% indicates that all ip addresses can be accessed;
