The new Rhino Edition, in the automatic 1.5 litre GLX variant, arrived in a flashy white colour, albeit with a heritage kit, reminding onlookers of the initial SJ-series, some 50 years ago. This kit included the Suzuki heritage grille, Rhino decals, red mud flaps, rain and wind deflectors, as well as a rhino-branded spare wheel cover.Suzuki Auto South Africa has announced that the Rhino Edition kit has made its way to local dealers. The heritage-inspired package arrives simultaneously with the recently announced mid-tier GL models. The package was first announced in late 2021.Suzuki Jimny GL Manual: R336 900 Suzuki Jimny GL Automatic: R357 900 Both Suzuki Jimny GL models come standard with a comprehensive 4-year / 60 000 km service plan. Rhino Edition Kit In addition to the Jimny GL, the special Rhino Edition Kits will land in dealerships at the same time as the GL models.The new Suzuki Jimny GL with a manual transmission is priced at R336,900 and R357,900 for the auto-equipped variant. It costs an additional R1,296 to fit the Jimny with the Rhino Edition Kit. The price includes a five-year/200,000 km promotional warranty and four-year/60,000km service plan. ‍The Rhino package is also available in dealerships. The kit resurrects the well-known Jimny Rhino logomark that first appeared on the Suzuki SJ-series exactly 40 years ago. This kit includes exclusive Rhino decals, a Rhino-branded soft spare wheel cover, the Suzuki Heritage grille, rain and wind deflectors, and red Suzuki mud flaps.
